I had been suffering from intense migraines and pain in my neck and upper back for several months prior to seeing Dr. Shaw. I had been to Orthopedic Doctors who referred me to physical therapy. Physical therapy helped me in some ways, but I could never shake the migraines and ache in my neck. The only thing left was to use prescription pain medication. However, this would only treat the symptoms and/or mask them. . I had given up hope that there would be any relief or any viable option.
For me, long-term use of prescription medication was not an option. In my career, I am required to be able to perform physically and mentally on a day to day basis. Like most people, I turned to the Internet for answers! After extensive research, I made the decision to visit Dr. Shaw.
Within two weeks of treatment the migraines began to fade in intensity and I was able to get out of the house for a limited time. Within four weeks, I was making it through the entire work day and only having migraines in the evening. In my sixth week of treatment I had a migraine once to twice a week. I am now migraine free!
Dr. Shaw and staff made this possible! I am able to work and play and without running the risk of taking addictive prescription medication! I am aware that some are skeptics of chiropractic medicine, but when you weigh the options of treating the symptoms or treating the cause it is an obvious choice. Brownsburg Chiropractic gave me another option when I thought there was none left.
My husband has always put off seeing a Doctor for his neck pain. After seeing my results he decided to face his fears and see Dr. Shaw too!
